Therapy fees

I aim to keep my fees clear and transparent, so you can make an informed decision about working together. I offer therapy and clinical supervision online across the UK. My fees reflect the care, training and professional support that sit behind each session.

Introductory telephone consultation (20 minutes): Free

This is a chance for us to talk before you decide whether or not you would like to work with me. You can ask questions, and I will also ask some questions to help determine what might be helpful for you.

There is no commitment to start therapy with me; you can use this call to have a chat about what you are looking for. The most important thing is that you find a practitioner with whom you feel comfortable, and I will be happy to help you find the right person.

If you would like to find out more about working with me, please get in touch via my contact form to book a short phone call.

Therapy session (50 minutes): £120

A 50-minute session for therapeutic reflection and exploration.

Therapy session (90 minutes): £220

A 90-minute session for therapeutic reflection and exploration. Many clients find 90-minute sessions particularly supportive for Internal Family Systems (IFS) work, or when wanting more space to explore a specific issue or period of change.

Therapy intensive (half-day or full-day package): £480 or £950

Your 3- or 6-hour package will include preparation and reflection exercises, plus a 30-minute follow-up call. I’ll tailor the day based on your goals for the intensive, and the issues you would like to work with.

The 6-hour package will run from 10am-1pm and 2-5pm, allowing an hour’s break for lunch.

Insurance

I am registered with Aviva, AXA, Cigna and WPA. If you plan to use insurance, please provide your insurer details, authorisation code and the number of approved sessions before we begin.
Most insurers fund 50-minute sessions unless your treatment plan specifies otherwise.

How sessions work

I work primarily online with clients across the UK, and also offer in-person and walk-and-talk sessions locally in Bridport, by arrangement. We will usually meet weekly or fortnightly.

Towards the end of each session we will begin to wind down and think together about next steps. When you decide to pause or end therapy, I recommend at least one final session to review and close our work.

Clinical supervision fees

£165 for a 90-minute supervision session

£110 for a 60-minute supervision session

Fees for group supervision and ad hoc consultation vary depending on session length and group size. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss options.

I offer clinical supervision to therapists and counsellors across the UK, as well as others working in healing, holding and supportive roles. You can read more about my supervision approach here.

For therapists and practitioners learning and integrating IFS

IFS integration groups: Fees

I offer small IFS integration groups for therapists and practitioners who have completed IFS Level 1 or equivalent foundational training and are beginning to integrate IFS into their work.

  • monthly 90-minute sessions
  • initial 6-month commitment
  • small cohort (4–6 people)
  • £95/month (£570 for the initial 6 months)

Supported IFS practice groups: Fees

A small facilitated practice group running over a series of three 90-minute sessions. Over the course of the series, each participant will have the opportunity to experience the roles of therapist, client and observer, alongside reflection, feedback and integration throughout. If there are two participants in the group, we will meet for two sessions rather than three.

  • small cohort (3 people max) to allow for depth and individual attention
  • supported live practice experience
  • space to notice and reflect on therapist parts that arise (the U-turn and the Fire Drill)
  • opportunities to learn through practising, observing and receiving feedback
  • suitable for therapists and practitioners integrating IFS into existing ways of working
  • a slower, relational and experiential approach to building confidence with the model
  • gentle live guidance and support throughout
  • focused on integration and embodiment, rather than “performing” the model perfectly

Participants usually form their own triad (or dyad) with peers you may already know from training, consultation groups or your professional community. Once you have identified your shared availability, please get in touch. I will check my schedule, and we can arrange a series of sessions together.

Where possible, sessions will take place at a regular recurring time across the series.

  • 3-session commitment
  • £75 per person per session (£225 for all 3)

A note about fees

I am committed to making therapy as accessible as I can, whilst also recognising that it represents a meaningful investment. Some clients choose to work fortnightly, and I hold a number of lower-fee spaces. Clients paying the full fee help make these supported places possible.

Your fee contributes not only to our time together but to the wider professional framework that keeps therapy safe, ethical and well held. This includes my own clinical supervision, ongoing training, professional memberships and insurance.

For each hour of therapy, I spend significant additional time in preparation, reflection, learning and administration. I remain committed to deepening my practice so that the work we do together is thoughtful, well-informed and sustainable over time.

The practicalities

Payment

I ask for payment 24 hours before each session. I will provide a link to make the payment online via Stripe’s secure system. Some clients prefer to pay for several sessions in advance; others prefer to pay session by session.

Cancelling and rescheduling

If you are unable to attend a booked session, I ask for 48 hours’ notice. If you ask to cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of the planned session I will do my best to find an alternative day/time before the end of that working week. If this is not possible, the full session fee is payable.

If you do not come to the session and give no notice, the full session fee is payable.

In order to support the flow of therapy I ask you to maintain a regular weekly or fortnightly rhythm wherever possible, missing no more than two planned sessions per quarter.

I charge a cancellation fee in order to cover costs, including turning away other clients who could have used that slot. Even if you are not at the session I will hold you in mind, taking time to reflect on our work.

Charitable giving

Giving

I donate a proportion of my income each year to charity. My chosen charities in recent years have been:

  • 2025: Breast Cancer Now is a UK charity working to support anyone affected by breast cancer, combining world-class research with practical and emotional support. Neroche Woodlanders is an award winning social enterprise based at Young Wood, one hundred acres of magical and beautiful forest on the edge of Somerset’s Blackdown Hills.
  • 2024: Weldmar Hospicecare is a Dorset charity providing specialist end of life care for adults with a life limiting illness, and support for their loved ones.
  • 2023: ASCape, a small but mighty Dorset-based charity working to support Autistic and socially anxious children and young people and their families.
